Hello, Again!!!

       Today I am writing to make a note that on Mar. 18, 2024 there was a significant landfall of Tropical Cyclone Megan at the Gulf Of Carpenteria, Australia with winds around 105 Miles Per Hour.  On the following Friday "Earthquake Minute" Show on local community radio, I mentioned the possibility of nearby Papua New Guinea being directly inline and very possible could get earthquake.  Few days later a 6.9 struck there on Mar. 27 around 800 Miles North of that landfall. 

       On that note I've continued to watch and saw a 6.4 Vanuatu, and 5.6 Offshore Northern California along with 5 others there since then.  All things considered i am now writing to say California, Los Angeles, and San Francisco should probably be watching for their turn to get some of the same amount of shaking which has now shook PNG, and Vanuatu since we're basically looking at the same tectonic plate, the Pacific, and 6.4 to 6.9 is the range these other earthquakes are shaking at!  

       Sure, there are some other places such as Japan, and Alaska where it also seems possiblle could shake, and i generally watch all around the Indio/Australian Tectonic Plate such as Nepal, Myanmar, Andaman/Nicobar Islands, and Macquarie Island for similar shaking but not part of the CEPEC, NEPEC system, and Australia usually shakes, too!

       Just prior to this writing, and not expected to have effect on USA, was a 3.4 near Johannesburg, South Africa that I'm mentioning because a fairly big cyclone made landfall at Madagascar this week and although i had already written it all up in the script for next Friday's show, I hadn't yet posted that. . . . . until earlier today after the fact.

       So, there may be more shaking around Mozambique, Botswana, and Etc. and we will most surely need to watch California well into month of April and until at least first of May 2024!

OFFICIAL PREDICTION FRISCO, HAYWARD, RENO, SPARKS, NEVADA RESULT OF 190 MILES PER HOUR WINDS AND 10 TO 12 FEET OF SNOW IN SIERRAS, LAKE TAHOE REGION

-----Of course by now we've all heard lot of snow and probably seen the pictures of Interstate 80 through the Donner Pass Region recently.  One report had recorded a wind gust of 190 Miles Per Hour at a Lake Tahoe Ski Resort, too!!!  These are about the same type of conditions which I found to have preceded numerous big earthquakes aside from the fact that we're usually talking about such "Severe Winter Conditions" covering bulk of United States and sub-zero temperatures commonly connected to severity.  Earthquakes such as Northridge, Paso Robles, Eureka 2010, and Haiti just the biggest ones off the top of my head!!  Once called these "January Earthquakes."
-----Therefore today I'm submitting to the councils the chance of a Major Earthquake of some sort, possibly not gigantic sized one, could at any moment come to affect the Hayward Fault, San Francisco or Oakland Region, and Reno, Sparks, Nevada.  We will find out soon enough by simply watching those places to see what will probably very soon shake, there.   Nevada has been known to get big ones, and earthquakes are quite commonly found to shake around Truckee, and Susanville, California so you could say it does, in fact, seem rather likely or certain at least some sized earthquake is to be expected there. . . but today I feel I must assert even ones that do come to show up on the list of latest earthquakes for all or any of those places are indeed the result of heavy amounts of snow, and those extremely high winds which have been recorded there, too!!!
-----My theory is that such heavy, heavy snow situated atop those mountains pushes down on that edge of the tectonic plate and is why I've specifically listed Hayward, California because they received a smallish shaker immeditely as all this was going on and a possible indication more to come at a place which in the past has been an actual epicenter for what we today call a San Francisco Earthquake.  Note that Virginia City, Nevada, although also quite commonly an epicenter for what may be considered random shakers, Virginia City had a 3.2 yesterday as I'm writing and does surely indicate this is already happening, my opinion!
-----So, let us be watching Frisco, Hayward, Reno, Sparks, Etc. with May 4 being Day 60 and while most likely this Official Prediction will have run its course by then, alert could run to June 2024.

Hello!

       Upon more study following landfall of Hurricane Otis at Southen Mexico, I've decided San Andreas Fault could now also be affected by POSSIBLE movement along the San Andreas Fault.  Not sure if I will work up the Encyclopedic Version of what I'm telling you all tonight, but I will paste the portion from todays edition of my EQ Blog:

 At press time I've written myself a note to mention all the movement along the path of potential Seismic Energy the result of landffall of Hurricane Otis does infact cross rather near the San Andreas Fault, but because it did not intersect with it in the immediate moments when I first checked, there has up to this point not been any mention of it!  NOW I'm mentioning it and may need a few additional days to work up a big alert but for now be aware Hurricane Otis was a big hurricane and made landffall not too far south of Southern California and Los Angeles!!!  COULD mean they could get some of the shaking!  North of Juneau Alaska, albeit Full Moon related, was on Day 3, and now looking at getting lot of shaking at Nepal. . . contiue to watch Leon, Mexico and Mexico City, Utah, and Seattle, but add the Los Angeles Region of San Andreas Fault and by time I get all this written up San Francisco might fit in there, too!!!

Hi, EQ Guy Here!  Now with two big alerts for Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, And Haiti due to this weeks landfall of Hurricane Lee at just west of Halifax, Nova Scotia and previously Franklins Landfall at Dominican Republic, should be shaking there soon!!!        Rushing this message to the Councils due to lot of brand-new Potential Seismic Energy looking like headed for Washington, DC, and New York/New Jersey!!!  Yes, I've now long tracked any big time landfall of Hurricanes, Typhoons, Cyclones where they've many times become epicenters of Major Earthquakes and todays landfall of Hurricane Idalia could be no exception and as attached pic illustrates locations along our East Coast are right there!

       I'll paste a new Updated "Network EQ Minute" from today with more such info!!!

       Thank-You Again and it is just so urgent due to as the following script discusses "Washington Monument Earthquake" followed landfall of Hurricane Irene at Puerto Rico by about 48 hour and so the rush to send this info out and a maybe promise for a more detailed "Official Prediction Washington, DC, New York, New Jersey" hopefully in the near future!!!

Hi, EQ Guy Here!!! This just in and I am now updating the Network Edition late on Wednesday to keep lot of my best listeners up-to-date!  Early today Wednesday I watched the TV at around 6am as Category 4 Hurricane Idalia made landfall at the big bend of Florida around a place they call Keaton Beach, there!  Untold winds and storm surge along with some apparent damage which will increase as those reports continue to come in from that region! Checking the globe later in the day to get a reading of where those Major Earthquakes might follow and have to report right now finding Washington, DC and Richmond Regions with the straight-line crossing directly through those places where earthquakes have been known to shake, this could be like 5 Magnitude.  Line continues on to west of New York City, and New Jersey there does occasionally get some shakers and IS situated along that line today!  Also portions of Central America.  This new alert will continue about all through September.  

-----Hurricane Franklin made landfall at Dominican Republic and we should watch Haiti, Jamaica, Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico and Harold made landfall at Padre Island, Texas with a  straight-line headed directly for San Diego, Los Angeles, and Tijuana, Mexico, There!!!!!

-----The East Coast was where the "Washington Monument Earthquake" hit on August 23, 2011 following landfall of Hurricane Irene at Puerto Rico on August 21, 2011, there!!!  AND this is the type of potential Major Earthquake Energy I’m talking about today, be watching, there!!!

Subject: Possible "Regional Earthquake Sequence (s)" For L.A. And S.F.!!!
Hello Again, Everybody!!!
       I'm writing you all today as we wait very patiently for some potential Major Shaking around Los Angeles, and San Francisco may I suggest due to huge amounts of snowfall around both regions along with what I like to call Severe California Winter Conditions!  Today we may need to add tornadoes to the ultimate overall realm of possible "Precursors" there!!!
       On the subject of now possible "Regional Earthquake Sequence" or Sequences, plural because I'm writing to suggest both L.A. and S.F. could be looking at big enough Major Earthquakes that could literally ring in possible large regional sequences of earthquakes, this will only add to the seriousness of my previous writings on the subject dated February 28, 2023, and March 10, 2023 where you'll recall I filed Predictions for both L.A. and Frisco in juxtaposition.
       I feel it is at best somewhat important that we should be aware we may not be looking at a quick 10 or 15 second shaking of those big California cities, rather, let's think along the lines of what I've seen described and written about, a "Regional Earthquake Sequence" whereby New Madrid experienced a great deal of movement, there, over the years 1811, and 1812 and really big earthquakes shook that whole entire region during the "Sequence"!  From my own memory haveing written about the 1992 Landers Earthquake can tell you seemingly lot of earthquakes all happened in this "Sequence" including especially 6.1 Joshua Tree, 6.5 Big Bear Lake three hours after, and a 5.7 Little Skull Mountian, Nevada which may or may not have actually been directly related, there!
       I've also heard or seen mentioned the 1971 San Fernando Earthquake was followed by lot of aftershocks, but not able to gather any such info as I'm writing today.  Can add the recent 2023 Turkey Earthquake had lot of good sized earthquakes and aftershocks spread out all across that region, ditto with 2005 Islamabad Earthquake which I clearly recall being about the biggest series of aftershocks I've ever known and lot of large ones, too!!!  Of course 2019 Ridgecrest went on for considerable time until we started commonly hearing it may be very long time before they stop. . . . and still get lots of occasional ones up in that region.  1999 Hector Mines Earthquake had at least a couple good aftershocks at 5.9, and 5.7 there, too!
       These are also a few of the places where today I'm trying to suggest might get involved in the shaking at Los Angeles, and San Francisco in possible upcoming Major Earthquakes!!  Ridgecrest could easilly be set off by bout any shaking around Los Angeles, Big Bear City already getting some tiny ones, could shake, as well as Landers, Hector Mine, California City, Tehachapi, Fort Tejon, Overdue Segment of San Andreas Fault near San Bernardino, Long Beach, Santa Monica, Malibu, Santa Barbara and the nearby islands, there, etc. all could shake in any earthquake followed by major sequence in the very near future.  Note the day number correlation with 1933 Long Beach will be April 10, 2023, but could still shake at any time!
       San Francisco also has it's shaky places where this type of sequence could also happen, possibly including Eureka, Fortuna, Ferndale, Santa Rosa, Chico, Oakland, Hayward another said to be overdue shaky place, Santa Rosa, Alum Rock, Watsonville, and many others in that region!!
       I don't beleive it would be wrong at all to get some of these heavilly populated regions into the knowledge circle as to what's going on with the potential for Major Earthquakes in and around both the Los Angeles, and San Francisco Regions!   Somebody at least mention it to O.E.S. or let's get a discussion going on what ways we can be better prepared because I've been doing this long enough that today it does look liike one or both major cities are looking at earthquakes and now at possible "Major Regional Earthquake Sequences"!!!
